I was born in Central America. I came to the US when I was 18. I took ESL classes and at the same time got my GED diploma. Then, I started attending Santa Monica College. In 2007, I graduated from CSUN with a Degree in Linguistics and two minors: one is teaching ESL and the other is Central American Studies. Now, I am attending CSULA where I am working on an M.A. in TESL. I was an ESL tutor at Los Angeles Mission College for one year. Then, I was a Spanish teacher at KAPLAN for two years. In 2008, I began teaching ESL at Los Angeles Valley College and at College of The Canyons.
